ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
General Body
The general body constitutes all the registered members of the association. The general body has the supreme power to make decisions on the activities of the association.
Executive Committee
The executive committee elected by the general body is responsible for governing the association.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board comprising ten to twenty regular members shall be elected by the General Body, with a tenure of two years. The members nominated to the Advisory Board should have made commendable contributions in fisheries or allied sectors. Members of the Advisory Board shall provide intellectual support and advise the Executive Committee in decision-making. The Advisory Board must observe, evaluate and supervise the activities of the Association.
Standing Committee
The standing committee is a body of regular members with significant experience or expertise, functioning as a think tank that runs parallel to and communicates with the executive committee. The Chair of the Standing committee will be an executive committee member.
Subcommittees
The executive committee constitutes subcommittees from among the regular members to carry out various activities. The subcommittees have been convened by Executive Committee members.
Institutional Working Committees
The executive committee has created working committees in each associated institution to support and carry out the association's activities, with a convenor and members from each institution.
