 The National Seminar on Microbial Interactions in Aquatic Systems and Ecological Sustainability (MIASES 2024), scheduled for November 20-21, 2024, at MES Ponnani College, Ponnani South, Kerala, India, aims to explore the critical role of microbial interactions in aquatic ecosystems. This seminar will feature discussions on key themes such as microbial diversity and its impact on ecosystem functioning, the relationship between aquatic ecology and biodiversity, and the health of fisheries and aquaculture. Additionally, the seminar will address the effects of climate change on aquatic environments and investigate strategies for promoting ecological sustainability. 

By bringing together researchers, practitioners, and students from various fields, MIASES 2024 provides a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, ultimately seeking to enhance understanding and practices related to microbial interactions and their significance in sustaining aquatic systems.

National Conference on Marine Pollution and Ecotoxicology (NCMPE 24) organized by the Department of Marine Biology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry, CUSAT in association with MoES-National Centre for Coastal Research, Chennai, and CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow in Collaboration with Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), Ocean Society of India (OSI) and the Association of Fisheries Graduates (AFG).

In this conference, Eminent Scientists and Researchers across India are participating as speakers to discuss the focal themes including;

Legacy and emerging pollutants in Marine Ecosystems, Environmental Toxicology, Changing Environment, Human Health and Risk assessment, Seafood safety and Sustainable aquaculture, & Innovative Technologies and regulatory framework. 

The conference will be held from September 25th to 27th, 2024, at the Seminar Complex of Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), Kalamassery, Ernakulam, Kerala.
