The National Seminar on Microbial Interactions in Aquatic Systems and Ecological Sustainability (MIASES 2024), scheduled for November 20-21, 2024, at MES Ponnani College, Ponnani South, Kerala, India, aims to explore the critical role of microbial interactions in aquatic ecosystems. This seminar will feature discussions on key themes such as microbial diversity and its impact on ecosystem functioning, the relationship between aquatic ecology and biodiversity, and the health of fisheries and aquaculture. Additionally, the seminar will address the effects of climate change on aquatic environments and investigate strategies for promoting ecological sustainability. 


By bringing together researchers, practitioners, and students from various fields, MIASES 2024 provides a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, ultimately seeking to enhance understanding and practices related to microbial interactions and their significance in sustaining aquatic systems.
