World Wetlands Day is observed on February 2nd each year to raise awareness about the importance of wetlands and promote their conservation.
About the event
Join us for an engaging Wetland Walk and familiarize with local fauna and flora at Kadamakkudy, organized by the Association of Fisheries Graduates, Kerala. This event aims to raise awareness about the ecological significance of wetlands and their role in supporting biodiversity and sustainable livelihoods. The program will bring together 50 college students, experts, and AFG members for an immersive experience exploring the unique wetland ecosystem. A special highlight of the event is the BiodiversitySurvey, where participants will document the rich biodiversity of the area, contributing to valuable ecological data and promoting conservation efforts.
